Holy Kaw and Bathroom Blogfest 2010

Holy Kaw: Pee Flow Chart
Leave it to AllTop's HolyKaw to find some of the most preposterous content ever - particularly related to Bathrooms.  In honor of Bathroom Blogfest 2010, I share with you my latest finds.

This chart takes you through a logical flow in terms of "Where Should You Pee?"

Better not be in a hurry, guys.

At the same time, better be aware of Toilet Texting and Other Statistics on Texting.

Take a look at What Will Bathrooms Look Like in the Future.

I love this Funny Bathroom Door.

Then, there's the Nicest Restroom [Guy] has ever used and a Toilet-themed Restaurant.

Stalls and Walls: Bathroom Blogfest 2010

Stalls and Walls: Bathroom Blogfest 2010
While preparing for Bathroom Blogfest 2010, Bethany Richmond from the Carpet and Rug Institute Blog came across Stalls and Walls.  Her note said "rather amusing, sometimes obscene" [which in its succinctness reminded me of my all-time favorite line "good tea, nice house"].

Stalls and Walls describes itself as "A collection of jokes, philosophy, poetry, political commentary and art found in the bathrooms of the world."

From the About Stalls and Walls Page:

"I have long wondered, when I sit enjoying a meal, reading a book, or drinking a tasty beverage, who amongst us are the people, armed with a pen, a sharpie, a piece of chalk, or a lighter, preparing themselves to make a visit to the restroom, not to simply “use the facilities” but instead to leave something potentially more permanent behind....

Some establishments keep a vigilant eye on their bathrooms and quickly paint over any blemish encountered.  Yet, other establishments let their customers make and leave their mark, creating a running history for all those who visit the restroom.  In either circumstance the messages are perishable, which is why I felt Stalls and Walls would be the perfect place to share and make a record of those deserving notice...."

Unfortunately, I don't notice much activity since June 2010. Nonetheless, there's still plenty there to... appreciate!

Happy Bathroom Blogfest 2010!

Tile Magazine Asks: What Do Mad Men & Bathrooms Have in Common?
The answer?  Bathroom Blogfest 2010 of course!

Many thanks to Tile Magazine Editor, Arpi Nalbandian, for helping get the word out about the upcoming 2010 Bathroom Blogfest taking place the last week in October.  Her post What do Mad Men and Bathrooms have in common? sets the stage for the upcoming Blogfest.

With a theme such as "Stuck in the 60s?", what comes to mind? Arpi mentions mirrored-wallpaper and intense floor covering? What memories do you have?

Let me know and do stay tuned for Bathroom Blogfest 2010!
